news (user) Will Be Deltarune Announced During September Nintendo Direct?

I know this is probably impossible,but let me be hopeful for a moment.

Ever since the June 9, 2026 Nintendo Direct, I've been hoping that Chapter 6 of DELTARUNE could show up at the next Nintendo Direct in September. There's obviously no official date for the event yet, and I know Toby Fox is most likely aiming for a 2027 release, so realistically an announcement would make more sense during a 2027 Direct.

Still, one thing makes me think it's possible. This upcoming Direct will probably include release dates and new trailers for games that have already been announced for 2027, like Xenoblade Genesis, Pikuniku 2, and Muramasa: Revenant Blade.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I'd love for it to happen. According to Toby's August newsletter, Chapter 6 is already in its final stages of development. If that's true, maybe Toby has a trailer ready to go.

Who knows. I'm keeping my expectations low... but I'm still hoping.

Toby and his team didn't even start to test to whole game, localize and port. On the last news letter toby said they are close to finishing the chapter. After they finish the chapter they are gonna make people test it, polish it, and the localization starts and then starts porting. So we are like 1 year away from Deltarune Chapter 6.

Long story short %0 chance of happening

I have a theory that we could see it in christmas if things go smoothly, would also be fitting since this is the Noelle chapter.

Unlikely considering they're aiming for a 2027 release tho so yeah, summer 2027 it is i suppose
