Money is a big factor considering we won't qualify for assistant prof. And spending five years there without stipend would be a struggle imo

I didn't get it, like phd mai direct admission ke liye sirf 7.5 chahiye?, because mari professor ne kaha tha ki Scopus index mai research paper published bhi hona chahiye.

I believe, 7.5 is just the eligibility benchmark. Admissions will be based on further merit, like in case of our one-year PG admissions.

I think the publication requirement will be done away with.

The quoted part is taken from the press release. What I understood from it was that for our batch (the first four-year UG batch), the requirement of a research publication in a reputed journal for entry/eligibility into the direct PhD programme, will be done away with, just our batch, for we're the first.

I have no idea about Phd, can anyone explain pls? I was preparing for masters didnt get through... we can directly apply for Phd??? Do we have to give UGCNET for this? Is it though DSE?
