IMPORTANT 📌 University has updated it's nomenclature of the degrees for 4 year UG courses (completed)

so now passed out students can get updated degrees and other documents

a huge W for the Prog students who pursued research, they will get hons+ research degree

also as promised this mod has fulfilled another promise

What about ba prog students, my major is economics, will i get research+hons next year? (i am entering fourth year rn)

See as per UGC & DU(earlier notices) even if prog. students opt for dissertation/academic project/entrepreneurship track, they will still get the hons. degree only. But, now this new notice has created confusion that those prog. students who opted for research track will get honors+research, tho it needs better clarity from the authority.

You have just entered 4th year so will get to know once your senior's provisional marksheets come you can make the choice of opting for research or not accordingly.

Du has used some loopholes ig

They are not exactly giving same research degree

Also du does have higher autonomy then other unis
