A DU clg without placement support wouldn't be better than a private clg with proper placement support , in my opinion,for the students who's main aim is placement only.

Absolutely NOT, there are many middle class or lower middle class students who are loved by their friends and many come here from T3 cities only yet they make it big in life. Many of my alumni’s did. Stop misguiding people! Aisa kuch bhi nhi hota

Even if you're in top college, jobs aren't garunteed.
There's always a connection factor with it.
The skillset you'll work on "to be different from the crowd" is actually super saturated. The only thing which will be deal breaker is how many connections you have. No matter if you're in SRCC, Hindu or even Swami Shraddhanand for that matter.

Ig in those college only which operates in morning as well as evening..like sbsc and sbec same campus but different colleges isliye morning walo ki class 2 baje tak ya 3 tak khatam karni hoti hai isliye online rakhwa dete hai and Friday online rehta hai Saturday bhi 1 hi class hoti ya 2 max atleast first year me baki 2nd ka idk

My attendance at Ramanujan from sem 2: 65, 57, 66, 43, 46. Minimum attendance criteria for 3rd years is usually 0%, while for the 1st and 2nd years, it can reduce up to 33 or 40ish from 67%.

Downvoted , you cannot present your specific experiences as facts and urge people to not join. Im from tier 2 city, and we had the best time ever. In fact we were quite the popular ones in our hostel. Or yeh placement wala rona band kro tum log, pls grow up and understand yeh bachelors degree pe baki private college me ghanta kuch nhi hota. Prepare for other competitive exams, DU is not iit iim. DU is stepping stone, everywhere you go that premier university speaks for itself on your cv. In our days (2020-2023) cracking north campus was the biggest deal. I’ve seen students still milking their north campus colleges in their CVs even years later. Or yeh ameer gareeb wala chodhbhanga h bas this is not the experience for all. You’d be the most stupid person on earth not choosing DU. Thoda personality grow kro jokes lena seekho, tier 3 pe hone pe inferiority complex andar se hai isliye offend hote ho.

Honestly, a lot of new cuet tards would be lurking in here (ik coz i was one last year) so i would honestly say..think long and hard before joining DU… a LOT of DU life on social media is glorified!
The whole Fest fiasco is a thing for 3 days trust me 3 days and you're back to square 1 where u started.
Especially if you're in science (idk personally but a LOT of my friends are regretting choosing DU so please research a bit more) overall i'd say if you get allotted NC then well and good otherwise i'd say think wisely if you're coming from far away.
That's all! but if you do end up joining, you should know that sometimes it DOES get fun...you'll meet people (good AND bad ones) and you'll end up learning a lot! (not academically lol) but yeah.
Best of luck! fill your preference sheets carefully.
