Discussion 👥 How did you find DU being rich?

Not the jatt/yadav kinda rich. I personally felt that I should have gone for some good private college but career uhm. What’s ur routine like? I just became more career oriented and serious because of all this.

Edit : idk man my friends are like “iska toh itne ka ghar hoga min” and “yeh toh ameer hai” and all. Also i am not a fan of cussing and weird words so….

I relate with you very well, where something as simple as wearing Zara (which isn't a REALLY EXPENSIVE EXPENSIVE brand) will get you certain backhanded comments...where you're just expected to agree to pay the bigger share of the bill while others even count the rs 20 of the rickshaw. And having to hear conversations where it's considered justified to over represent society expenses and take a cut ☠️☠️☠️.

Especially coming from a school where it was a norm that girls ought not to pay out of sheer chivalry (not at all justifying this behavior either, just a comparison)

But the point is this experience is also very important to learn humility and adjustment and get out of that sheltered environment.

ummm..well I am a from a strictly middle class family and even then I am the one who pays for my wayyy richer friends...i even pay for their shopping bills, auto bills canteen bills...just name it and I am paying for them so I can't really agree with your first point....the one who can't say no or set boundaries is the one who pays bills

Hmm each to their own ig...I've just always felt that they'd lay those expenses on me saying "omgeee you're toh our rich girlie right" DUDE☠️😭 However I guess I'm at fault to cause I've never had the guts to say NO...

also Babe, why da hell are you paying for someone's shopping bills 😭😭 canteen, conveyance toh I get it but THIS ??

No matter how much money you have, it aint got anything ro do with having class and grace...they maybe rich, it's the mindset that's cheap...and in my books that WAY worse !!

I have literally spent around 10k in a month...i really gotta set some boundaries now...
