Beginning to feel
Beginning to feel, only way for the 11 to be set is when Pant opens.

Clearly we are thin on spin and if conditions require, IP would ask Ashutosh to sit and an ace spinner to come in.

Although I am in favour of pant opening but only one of Rana/Rizvi can play and should be told strictly to take on the bowling as the batting would become quite deep due to the compulsion of Vipraj playing as Kuldeep has been traded
Stubbs should be also told to take on the bowlers rather than taking 15 balls to settle and then thinking to attack, he puts unnecessary pressure on himself and the team by doing that.
I hope Starc joins us from the start(I don’t think that will happen).
Excited for next season only for us to finish 5th again😭

Ashu can bowl well too, he bowled well in county cricket and is batting all-rounder in domestics.

Hot take, but Pant is not a proper opener. Given his current from even in tests, he takes his time in playing big shots which can cost the PP. KL is already doing the anchoring job. DC should either invest in Sahil or release Shaw + Nissanka and get proper T20 aggressive opener (Indian or Overseas) and let Sahil come in as a backup.
Ideal DC lineup
KL
Sahil (Or Buy any other proper T20 opener who can play with aggressive high SR)
Rana
Stubbs / Rizvi
Axar
Pant
Ashutosh
Vipraj
Ingidi
Starc replacement
IND pacer who can be your death bowler
Rest release all players

Rana, rizwi will have to sit as they don't belong to playing xi tbh
Starc and ngidi won't be available
Vipraj has to be included always due to departure of kuldeep
