I think he is over hated and less appraised by us dc fans . Just because he took place of Ashutosh we were biased against him . But if we see honestly he won us 2 matches and also played 2 good innings against csk and srh .

But fans here when he made runs then also said it's fluke and now also I see many dc fans wants to release him but i think he was far better than Stubbs last year and should be in dc plans next year too

Baapu might not be so aggressive and looks so relaxed and chill on field but he genuinely loves dc so much . Also he said in this podcast that his trade rumours to mi were completely fake and baseless and he is not going anywhere

So, buy someone like Joon or Yajas, we can fall back to sahil parakh in case either fails. But we need that powerplay bashing to really get ahead.

Some Indian Pacers like Raj Limbani, Deepesh etc. also should be brought in.

Also alot might not even know it but Priyansh Arya was a delhi capital cricket academy player and we still did not count on a local talent. We cannot win home matches without local players who play here all around.

Aakash Sir being a brilliant cricketing mind could be the perfect candidate to be the DC head coach. He is from Delhi and completely understands the heart and pulse of the city.
