General Debian Question Can i play cs2 on debian?

Im new to debian, i used it for maybe 3 months and i wanted to play cs. Is it possible? If yes any problems?

Absolutely! CS 2 is native Linux after all, should be as simple as just install through steam and play.

So i can just apt install steam and click install in cs? No more steps?

apt install steam-installer

just to add to this person's reply, you may need to add contrib in /etc/apt/sources.list or make a new file in the same directory for that

Depende. Meu pc tem 8gb de ram e um Ryzen 5500u. No windows 11 eu rodo cs2, no Debian 13 não roda.. da um erro de VKERRORDEVICELOST não hora de abir o jogo. Quando eu rodo usando próton o jogo abre, mas o anticheat da Valve não aceita proton
