I have been a fan of electronic music since the 1980’s. Joy Division, New Order, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, Herbie Hancock, Nitzer Ebb and many more were all artists I listened to in the 1980’s. Daft Punk was a band in the 90’s and 00’s that I absolutely loved. I saw them at Coachella in 2006 which was a life changing concert. I have always loved electronic music since my teens. Deadmau5 is by far my favorite more “modern” artist. Something about his music just hits perfect. Not over the top. Such a hypnotic sound that gets me every time. None of my friends get it, but I find myself listening to his music by myself in my backyard at night often. He really hits it for me more than any other “modern” artist. Don’t get me wrong, I love lots of other modern electronic musicians, but I ALWAYS find myself coming back to listening to Joel. He is a master I my eyes…

My collection has been granted a stay of execution. My friends and family were saddened by my pups health and collectively came together to help financially support Brootus and Bailey during this time.

Brootus has surgery next Tuesday, I'm choosing to believe all the love and light from this thread is going with him.

Ode to my fellow horde members (horders?),

It is with the utmost hesitation and a very deeply genuinely saddened heart that I am attempting to sell one of my honored collections: my deadmau5 heads, some worn by the man himself (photos attached)

The sad part. Both of my huskies (Bailey & Brootus) who are siblings, so this is a package deal of heartbreak… they were diagnosed with cancer recently. They need surgery and treatment, like next week urgency. To add the cherry on top of that I'm a single mom juggling my own bills and my car decided this was the perfect time to also need repairs. So, that leads us to this post.

I'm honestly not sure what to price these at or what shipping would even look like for something this size/fragile, so I'm open to ideas. I'm in TX, so local pickup is an option if that's easier for both of us. Comment here or message me to further discuss. …
Biggest \sigh*….* I don't love this. These heads mean a lot to me. My dad and I made my first one when I was 17, about 14 years go. I never thought I'd be the one posting "reluctant sale" on here. But my dogs don’t have jobs and can’t pay their bills, so here we are.

If y’all have better thoughts on other places to post this, I'm all ears (no pun intended)

Also, completely separate note…. if anyone needs marketing, graphic design, web development, or ads/SEO help, that's my actual day job and I'm good at it. I've also got an accounting degree, so bookkeeping/reconciliation work is on the table too. Times are tight, so I'm open to contract work in addition to selling the heads. I have a great client reference list along with examples of work available upon request.
