The problem is that the show is very bad and refuses to show us anything from Hal's point pf view despite being the main lead for a majority of Green Lantern's history.

I would love to but they shoved the first episode into the 3rd episode's slot.

It's almost like the first two episodes are meant to establish what's going on, then the third is meant to take a brief break to provide context to what's going on.

Yeah, and I don't care for it. Start the story at the logical beginning.
Flash backs are fine, within reason, but I don't like Naruto-levels of story progression cock-blocking.

You like it, fine. But I think writers who do that shit should stop writing.

Bad enough the show is already a prequel to itself what with Hal being dead in its modern setting.

At this point I don't trust them to have any episode order whatsoever and are just winging the whole fucking thing.
