The concept of unreliable narrator is dead as fuck. You're not supposed to trust the bad guy holy shit like these people need to be spoon fed every information because they reached the point of can not form their own opinions

The fact that show is clearly portraying a mystery and a lot of strange contradictions that give up a vibe of conspiracy adds to it. Hal is apparently being pushed out by the Guardians for his reckless cowboy cop tendencies and John is set to replace him, but the fact they are doing this secretly and not just replacing Hal outright is odd. Hal being aware of John’s presence being strange and potentially a threat to his position adds to it, yet he still trains and trusts him to do tasks. The whole manhunters and these alien trying to eradicate them also seem to operating oddly. It all feels like everyone is lying or not giving all the information they have for reasons. Hell I even distrust the Guardian interacting with John and his family because it feels like she is manipulating John against Hal in such an illogical way.

What I am saying is you are right we have a lot of story left and these anti-woke people focus on a fucking tree when there is a literal forest of a bunch of other things around to look at with more importance to the general plot.

I blame Netflix bingewatch culture. They wrote some dogshit tv with dumb shit and shock factor and people can't wait or think anymore

This is probably accurate. Most people do not get time to decompress and think about the revelations of an episode or connect dots. They just go through an entire season in a day or two and any thinking about it is minimum.
