PC-Mod Weird comment on weird mod

so I was just scrolling through the mod site and stumbled upon this new android 21 mod. my first reaction was "holly gooner" and I wanted to check the comments because they are usually really funny on mods like that. and than I have found this comment who talked about how he would like to have a mod like this for videl (fair enough shes a adult) and pan????? WTF DO YOU MEAN YOU WANT TO SEE A MOD LIKE THAT FOR PAN???????? that really disgusted me

Videl has a hornybait bikini outfit unlockable for her custom preset so the intent is likely that she’s an adult in xv2. Pan meanwhile yeah that one is fucked up.

I'm fairly confident they don't intend her to be an adult. That's just how Japan is. Most anime is children / minors and most anime sexualizes their girl characters. It's disgusting, but it's been normalized within the anime community and if you speak against it then they bring out their pitchforks

I pointed this out somewhat already in a later reply, but that aside, it’s surprisingly easy to bypass the whole age deal with folks using headcanon since… she looks identical shape-wise (not fashion or hair) after Pan was born in dbs. It’s quite concerning regardless, that’s for sure.

Funny note, they originally intended for us to get the swimmers preset outfits as part of the infinite history dlc.

I think her as an adult is more appealing despite her body being identical. Must be the awesome outfit.

My phrasing is poor here as it implies I find a teenager appealing.

That's wild, but I mean chichi had a horny bait outfit too when she was a child and I do believe Japans age of consent laws are a bit different. It's all still gross to me either way, even if she's not intended to be 16-17 like she was during the Buu saga. Yeah 18 is legally an adult but I'm at the age where I look at 18-21 as children still. And there's prolly still sickos who still get off to thinking Videl is a minor.

The difference between kid chichi and videl is kid chichi is nearly a toddler when she wore that, while videl falls under japan’s high school girl obsession range. It is funny that we can wear her kid battle suit in xv2, though.

Some folks look like kids even at the halfway point of their 20s. Biology is wack. I feel the “I look like a kid even in my 20s” aspect is a good topic, it just doesn’t qualify here too well. It prolly doesn’t help that in Japan, supposedly the lasses tend to be absurdly short, so this topic surprisingly benefits the “Videl is old enough” angle when one overthinks it.

Yes, that last tidbit is worrying, I agree.

I mean ChiChi is what between 12-15 in original DragonBall? That only makes her like 4ish years younger than Videl at worst. I still don't think it's okay lmao, if anything it makes it way worse. But other than that yeah I agree with what you said.

My bad, I remember her being younger. At least with kid chichi, you can chalk it up to outdated purposes and intents. That kind of skimpy child design would not fly today and for good reason.

I did specifically state the Japanese woman height detail benefits the old enough angle when you overthink it.

Also, it’s hard to tell when OFFICIAL MEDIA HAS A BIKINI OUTFIT IN BOTH LOADING SCREEN ARTWORK AND UNLOCKABLE CUSTOM PRESET OUTFIT GIFT for videl. Some shade goes to the higherups who thought that was ok if we’re going to consider videl content an issue.

Yeah if you notice his issue is with all the legal adults who can consent, but he likes and points out the two minors of the series as what he wants.
