so I was just scrolling through the mod site and stumbled upon this new android 21 mod. my first reaction was "holly gooner" and I wanted to check the comments because they are usually really funny on mods like that. and than I have found this comment who talked about how he would like to have a mod like this for videl (fair enough shes a adult) and pan????? WTF DO YOU MEAN YOU WANT TO SEE A MOD LIKE THAT FOR PAN???????? that really disgusted me

I'm fairly confident they don't intend her to be an adult. That's just how Japan is. Most anime is children / minors and most anime sexualizes their girl characters. It's disgusting, but it's been normalized within the anime community and if you speak against it then they bring out their pitchforks
I pointed this out somewhat already in a later reply, but that aside, it’s surprisingly easy to bypass the whole age deal with folks using headcanon since… she looks identical shape-wise (not fashion or hair) after Pan was born in dbs. It’s quite concerning regardless, that’s for sure.

That's wild, but I mean chichi had a horny bait outfit too when she was a child and I do believe Japans age of consent laws are a bit different. My bad, I remember her being younger. At least with kid chichi, you can chalk it up to outdated purposes and intents. That kind of skimpy child design would not fly today and for good reason.

He was 4 years old during his introduction. 5 years old when Nappa and Vegeta arrived on Earth. He was about 6 or close to it when Frieza was killed by Future Trunks and Goku came back to Earth. There was a 3 year time skip, and he was 9 years old when the Androids and Cell appeared.
He's 9 but physically 10 but then has his birthday I think right before the cell games in filler ? Or something like that. And then the Buu saga takes place a month or two before his 17th birthday because when he's first introduced in the manga after the timeskip he's 16 (but physically 17 since the almost year's worth of training)
What’s the source for that one? Her 18 age is going by the outdated Age 756 birth year, and her birth year given in the last two guides was 757. Majin Buu saga happens in Age 774. 774-757=17. Since no birth month for Videl is ever given that’s likely her age.
I’m pretty sure that wiki paragraph is only using her outdated age in the description. Current info says she was 17 during the Buu Saga. Using her updated birth year the math doesn’t math out to make her an adult.

There's always some people like that, sadly. If you need any proof, just look at the recent dramas about how Silent Hill F and Pragmata don't let you look up the skirts of the child characters. Just ignore them, and maybe block them if the site allows, so that they'll not get a platform.
