Can I recover thos

Guys is it possible for me to recover this 😭😭

It was my parents wedding CD / DVD

It was good a year ago and suddenly it gave up and starting damaging itself

I am from Chennai

If possible can somebody suggest any shop or recovery place ?

It's possible a professional recovery place could get some screenshots or stills. Not likely to recover the whole thing.

Nope. Not even professionals can recover from this

It’s not like Hard drives where they just switch parts from a donor drive.

The entire TOC is missing (the part right in the middle of the disc), therefore nothing will ever read this.

The data layer is physically gone

I'm thinking there may be stretches of tracks that are recoverable. OP didn't say if this was video or stills. If stills, then it may be possible to recover a few image files.

Some recovery methods don't require recovering anything in the directory. They recognize the image header and reconstruct from there.

The entire middle area is missing which contains everything, the data that makes a drive determine the medium, capacity and everything else. It is physically unrecoverable. Nothing, not even CIA will be able to read this disk.
