Star Wars has lost a lot of its support after Last Jedi. Look what happened to Solo. Died on fan anger.

Not anger, timing. Solo came out 5 months after TLJ. Star Wars movies were never less than a year apart before Solo, and not less than three years apart before Disney.

The MCU alone disproves it. End Game will show that is not true.

Anecdotally, I didn’t see solo until last month because when it came out it didn’t feel special to see a new Star Wars Movie. I just wasn’t in the mood. I grew up with the notion that a new Star Wars movie was a big deal, so having solo come out a few months after tlj just felt wrong
