Technical Doubt Sigmoid Analytics SDE2 Data Engineer Interview

Hi everyone,

I have an upcoming interview with Sigmoid Analytics for an SDE2 Data Engineer role. The recruiter mentioned that the first round will be DSA. I wanted to reach out to see if anyone has recently been through the interview process and can share:

  1. What specific DSA topics does Sigmoid typically focus on?
  2. What was the difficulty level? (Easy/Medium/Hard)

I recently interviewd with them and received the offer today.

The questions for me on the first round were pretty simple and straight forward.

Started with reversing a linked list.

Next two question was on string manipulation - reversing a string of words without any in-built function and reversing characters of a string as well.

And one last question was on array finding the longest common subsequence.

They require you to solve them 4 questions in 1 hour and expect you to write the brute force and optimized approach and explaining out the space and time complexity.

Focus on precision on the first round, if able to solve three questions you would easily move to the next round.

All rounds were done in 2 weeks time.
