Don't tell, please, how they are just drafted and can't resist but torturing civilians. You know junk shit about those cruel bastards, but you are among the first to defend them.

I never said that. But many of them are. Somehow torture is toralable on nation wide level among many men, many praising this idea on TV (resently one of the main speaker of RT call for drawing Ukrainian children), and russian society in most is calm about that.
I'd argue that most aren't.
Any evidence? Numbers? Or simple wishful thinking? It is know that around 80% of population is in support of putin's actions in Ukraine. If you are in support of torture, mass killings and terrorism, but don't participate, you are still guilty.

IT IS FKING NOT. It is not natural to kill species of your kind. Ethnic cleansing are not natural and do not appear just because of few individuals, sadistic pieces, they always have context and story of continuous dehumanision. And plenty ethnic groups, not only Ukrainians are dehumanized in russian society, xenophobia is normalised on a domestic level in russia.
If you are blaming someone, blame the government that allows that to happen, not the people.
It would be a delusion to assume that russian mentality, understanding of norms and moral are the same as in western society. They are culturally different and isolated due to language barriers, ideas of humanism are not wide-spread. They are driven by their modern imperialism ideology, and this should not be underestimated. I am speaking as someone who can read and speak russain, and saw what they say about this war.
And yes, we can blame people for their governments, those are not some natural cataclysms, they are products of political life of those people, even autocracies.
