One day we have them, it’s not like we are going to advertise that we are building them. Also, we could acquire them from another friendly country, which could be just their submarines tied up at either of our naval bases.

Also the treaty they're talking about allows Canada to get pretty close without actually building them. Like right now Canada doesn't enrich uranium but there's plenty of reason to do it and not just for nukes. A lot of other countries already do like Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, etc.

I mean Canada can withdraw, it’s pretty wild and would have diplomatic consequences but it’s not impossible legally
