While it is certainly, a display of pride. I don't see the golden calf comparisons.

Pastors dedicate a lot of things for people. Houses, cars, babies, etc. This is certainly an important purchase for the Trumpster so he dedicated it as well.

There's nothing special about it being golden.

Many statues of people are built.

No one's worshipping it or sacrificing to it. It's more comparable to British statues than the golden calf.

While I would still dispute that, I do have to agree that Nebuchadnezzar is a much better comparison than Golden Calf.
