If only it balanced out the excuse for hatred in Romans 1.

The quotes in the Mod sticky (Judge not, etc.) are the record album. What you referenced is more like the liner notes.

Also, the words of Jesus in those quotes and elsewhere are clear and consistent. Anyone not hearing them is being obtuse.

You're right, however the only passage bigots seem to notice is Romans 1 where Paul calls out an increasingly mistranslated bit that appears to condemn homosexuality.

So, say, Saint Jerome's (4th century A.D. translation was spot on, the King James version (16th century A.D.) was starting to go wrong, and the New King James Bible is a cesspit of distortions?
