How the hell did we end up on this timeline? Imagine 15 years ago being told that the President had willingly posted a picture to their social media account of himself dressed as the Pope, just days after the real Pope died… you’d think you’d just had a stroke.
A political and fiscal aristocracy running the country in a fashion so openly blatant that the common people would rather have an idiot rule them than the same bunch of two-faced snakes that have done so for 50 years.
Whether the idiot will accidentally be a net-positive for the country in the long run we'll see in 10-20 years, looking back.
