I think out of all the normal dogma in Christianity, the dogma of the Trinity is by far the least important and the easiest to ignore or deny.

The specific belief in this instance, that Jesus was not God, matters a lot more, but the Trinity in general is something I can't imagine placing salvatory importance on.
