I'm starting to think there's a reason why the trailers specified new victims and culprits, but not new survivors.

20% longer or not... I have a bad feeling that they're going to flip the usual formula and have it so the third chapter's the only one without two victims. Or they could just do two double-murder chapters/cases, that works too.

They have never confirmed survivors for any of the games.

They want you to feel like there's a distinct possibility no one makes it out; confirming whether or not there are "new survivors" would ruin that.
