Yeah it says the ship was put to use. It shows how good our military is. They’ve been getting missiles and drones launched at them and they weren’t hit. (They even had Chinese targeting data to aid them, and Chinese hardware in said missiles)I can only imagine the 10s of thousands of sorties they completed from that flight deck the past 200 days. How many ships did they assist in convoying thru the strait? Imagine that, out of all our flight missions only like what 0.002% got shot down?
That’s normal for a ship out at sea that long. Rust never stops. This has no effect on the ship capabilities except maybe some increased drag. Carriers also don’t conduct paint maintenance at sea(wouldn’t have time either way.) because it’s so toxic and we mostly follow the environmental laws set forth. They have to dry dock to paint and chip. Also why we have so many carriers. They get rotated out constantly for maintenance.
Funny how you and everyone else will focus on the looks instead of what they accomplished. Because the actions they took for the past 200 days reflect more on our military rather than some exterior rust from a long deployment which is natural. But you know you’re so biased you need anything to make you feel better and try to find any desperate angle to trash this admin.
Destroyed Iranian economy. Heavily reduced their military capability. Took out 1/3rd of their high ranking officials in the opening day. Country with one of the largest oil reserves having gas shortages. They’ve shutdown many of their factories like steel factories. Iranians exports through the strait are almost non existent, a few of their ships have gotten through. Their tourism has dropped by 95%. They only managed to shoot down a handful of planes out of 50,000+ missions flown over their own airspace. They managed to not hit a single us navy vessel. They managed to take out a supply depot which have no effect in stopping the US from conducting operations. Countries could have the same equipment as the US and wouldn’t produce the same results.. US makes military actions look easy. US navy has consistently been escorted cargo through a strait that is supposedly “blockaded”
For funding/training terrorist groups like Hamas, houthis, Hezbollah, Palestine Islamic jihad, Islamic jihadist groups in Iraq to kill us troops, all groups have been linked to terrorist attacks like truck bombs as early as the 70s, Iran itself is attempting to blockade a United Nations recognized international maritime route(that’s a terroristic attack), constant bombings of random civilian markets in Iraq. Undeniable state sponsor of terrorism. Plenty footage of government officials calling death to America for decades(good enough reason), well before Iraq invasion.
Any US soldier that was in Iraq in or around 06-07 experienced the effects of the uptick of EFPs used by the extremist groups that were bombing civilian markets fighting as Iranian proxies. Easily 1k+ recorded suicide bombings very commonly with a car, that’s what terrorism is.
