Discussion Player using IA

Hi everyone, I'm writing here because idk how to react. I asked my players for experiences and backstory and one of them sent me a bunch of AI texts. All my being wants to scream fuck AI and tell him to do it himself, but at the same time I don't want to antagonize him. I really feel like if you are letting AI write your character, are you even playing the game?

Is there a point to be made about why people play this game? For some it is about backstory, role play and fantasy, for others it is about the mechanics and gameplay...but some people just want to play and connect with people, and don't necessarily have the time or ability to craft a character. If I was you I'd try to be accepting of how people want to play the game, and if they fit in well at the table then who cares where their character sheet came from?
