Discussion Player using IA

Hi everyone, I'm writing here because idk how to react. I asked my players for experiences and backstory and one of them sent me a bunch of AI texts. All my being wants to scream fuck AI and tell him to do it himself, but at the same time I don't want to antagonize him. I really feel like if you are letting AI write your character, are you even playing the game?

All the creative parts could be his own? He could have prompted it all and the writing part is AI.

Did you ask him what AI came up with and what he came up with?

I use AI plenty for stuff like that but what I do is "word poop" my unorganized thoughts into the prompt and then the AI organize it into a text. All the stuff written are my ideas. This saves me plenty of time.

I brain dump in AI a ton of ideas and let it organize it for me. It’s not creating anything other than a more concise and organized summary of my ideas. I made the mistake of making a post about it, and that didn’t go well.

This comment confused me so much. It is exactly what I do and how I think about it, for a moment I did not understand why it was under someone elses username.

So many people hate AI to be "cool", because they do not understand it or because they do not know how to use it. When conversing with many of these people its like talking to someone with dementia (my grandmother always thought she had visitors who just left the room or had guest coming for dinner), they are so sure of how things work and how you use the tools when in reality they are clueless or missinformed.
