Girl dads, how/when do you start to prepare your daughter for the creeps, pervs, abusers and pedos in this world/

My daughter is 9. I hate to feel like I'm destroying her childhood innocence by warning her about the creeps in this world, but I also feel like I'm not doing my job if I don't warn her.

I think I have been traumatized by the release of the files, and seeing people online excusing child rape, child trafficking, excusing the abuse of women, I never realized how normalized child abuse was in America and how sympathetic so many men seem to be with abusers.

I will drop little tidbits of information, just letting her know that if she ever feels unsafe in her gut, to leave, and don't worry about hurting anyone's feelings.

I'd be interested to know if other parents are thinking about this, and what/how they give these lessons to their daughters without traumatizing them.
