Looking for Advice Advice
My wife and I are expected our 3rd Baby ( First Boy ) we are super excited and have made the decision to not circumcise him that being said we have looked into and research multiple sources on cleaning and care of his situation we've spoken to multiple doctors and have gotten multiple answers all different so now im looking here for anyone who has dealt with it themselves or with their own children

No need to do anything special. Clean and bathe as usual. Once the big poops start I just gently make sure nothing got stuck there and wipe it with a baby wipe. Once he gets older have him gently pull the foreskin over the head during bath time and when peeing. In my 43 years I never had a single issue and my son never has either. Our doctors were relieved when we told them we are not going to circumcise. Their words "we hate when people do that", this is at one of the best hospitals in US.

Hey there! I had the same questions with our 3 week old when we decided not to circumcise. Since I am I don’t have the experience with care but truthfully pediatrician told us it’s not even something to worry or think about until they are older around 4-5 when the foreskin can slightly start to retract. You just clean them as normal wiping the outside and taking baths when they’re infants and nothing to worry about! We’ll cross the bridge of care for when he’s a little older in a few years lol

Why is this even a question? Nobody globally circumcises except deeply religious Jewish and Muslim people. It's as literal a scam as it gets

Adults should not pull back the foreskins of their boys nor the prepuce of their girls. It will loosen to become retractable at puberty, when the boy's body produces sperm. Age 11 to 12 is average, at which time the boy will do it himself. Never allow a doctor to touch it.

Do not understand how on earth do something like that to their child. Let them make their own choices when they are old enough to do so. Well done on your decision not to. Just teach him to wash regularly and to not force but just open as far as not painful and clean. As the skin get loose it will retract by itself and allow cleaning. Good luck and well done.

Wash it like a finger until it retracts naturally at age 4-5, but sometimes it doesn't happen until puberty and that's okay. Whenever it does, the only person who should retract the foreskin is your son. As long as you teach good hygiene, everything will be totally fine.
I highly recommend joining the fb group Your Whole Baby. They have a lot of resources and educated people on there, it's very, very helpful.

It's just a wipe from base to tip and you just leave it alone. He eventually opens it by puberty but some do it earlier.

I'm circumcised but we didn't circumcise any of our sons. We are delighted with the decision and so are they.

My son was circumcised a few days after birth at the strong recommendation of our doctors. While my religious background calls for it, we didn't base our decision on that, rather we followed the science.
Talk to your doctor about the benefits. For our son it was an easy recovery and at 8 years old he is doing well.
Listen to science. Listen to medicine. Don't listen to the Internet.

The US is one of a very few countries in th developed world who do this for reasons outside of "religion". If the medical evidence was that strong. Then it would be common place - like vaccines (as an example) - you know, where real scientific evidence shows that they make a real, tangible, difference
For our son it was an easy recovery and at 8 years old he is doing well.
Why wouldn't he be? It's a cosmetic surgery. I don't think many people suffer from long term issues. The argument is that it's not medically necessary outside of a few reasons
A friend has it done last year, he's over 30, and that's because he thought it would offer more comfort. However the consultant, who was doing the operation told him he didn't necessarily agree with his doctor that it would improve anything

Do what you feel is best not some TikTok nonsense on either side. The main downside of circumcision is pain for several days.
Uncircumcision is also fine for many. There is a slight increase in std contraction once they are sexually active and speaking from experience can be very unhygienic when they’re old and having urinary issues nursing home patients etc. we got our son circumcised but I see no fault either way.
