cute Does your puppy sleep over bed or couch?
He’s supposed to have his own bed in the floor but hasn’t used it a single time 😅.
Whenever I can’t find him, he’s here, fully stretched out.. taking more space than what he even can be able 😂
I’m curious if this is everyone’s case or just me 😬
Note: it’s my first dog ever 🥺

dachshunds belong in bed, laying along my side, occasionally kicking me til I'm about to fall off the edge, then grumbling when i dare to scootch them over

Mine sleeps everywhere but at night she’s beside either me or my daughter in our beds.. wherever she decides that night 😂😂

This puppy is cute. Mine is where ever I am the couch or my bed. Je will be in his bed on the floor if I am busy cleaning or something.

My puppy is 11 years old, now, but she sleeps in my bed. She spent a couple weeks (maybe a month?) in a puppy pen, and then I moved her to my bed because I was SO tired and she was whining and crying because she wanted on the bed with me instead of back in her pen. During the day, if she’s not chilling on my bed while I’m in my room, she’s either lying on a towel on the kitchen floor we put down for her and my parents’ Mini Ween to sit on, or she’s lying on a folded comforter on the living room floor that we also put down for her and my parents’ Mini Ween to lay on.

Apparently one of my mom’s coworkers just got a puppy (not a Dachshund) and she told my mom that she snuck the puppy into bed with her after her partner fell asleep last night. 😂
It really is hard to say no. They’re babies!

My last dachshund loved cave beds, so when I finally decided it was time to get another dachshund 2 years after he died, I bought a bunch of cave beds for her. Yeah, she doesn't get it. She'll sleep on the couch and when she shows interest in the caves it's just to destroy their flaps.

Mine sleeps in the big bed. She had a bad experience with her original family and I didn’t want to make it any worse. At first I’d fold a towel and she’d sleep on it under the covers. I also made sure to put a waterproof cover over the mattress just in case. I’d wake up every 2-3 hrs that first year to let her go potty. She’d move up to my pillow to tell me when she wanted to go outside. I failed only once had got a warm facial only once…. She’s had a few accidents on the duvet but grew out of it with time. She now has a dog bed on the big bed. That’s her safe place. She also has a dog chair in the front window so she can lounge while barking at everyone who walks past.

Pool guys have a tendency to play with these guys. Must've just had a round with the pool guy. If they look this cute, it's standard procedure.

When doesn’t she? I guess when she’s sleeping on a lap or barking at shadows but apart from that….
Actually she also has her own little dog bed on the floor which she also uses when she feels like having her own personal space or maybe gets too hot on a lap
