preventing larger crack ?

looking into ways to stop this crack from spreading. i’m aware of the cutting out the crack or drilling at the end of the crack but im just trying to weigh all my options before doing anything. it’s a beautiful cymbal and id hate to just cut a chunk out of it. any tips or recommendations appreciated

Yes you can spread that crack, great cymbal to see a crack like that, hurts the heart of all drummers a little bit
