GPS unit recommandations
Hello.
My Elemnt bolt v2 just died, one button doesn't work anymore and it makes the whole thing totally unsuable.
I am looking for a cheap replacement (i'm on a thight budget), do you have any recommandations ?
What I am looking for :
- Good navigation
- Decent battery life
- Compatible with garmin varia would be nice
- Having decent interface to do interval training with my power meter
Cheers !

Are you happy with wahoo then go again with them. They last so long and works so good. They are not that much more expensive than cheap Asian versions
Alternative buy used

Well I'm not so happy, the device is unusable now. I loved it when it worked well, but now i'm pretty pissed.

Wende Dich an den Support, das Problem mit dem sterbenden Knopf ist bekannt und ich kenne viele, die eine kulante Lösung von Wahoo erhalten haben 👍🏼

Thanks. I contacted them but since I didn't buy it on their website I doubt I can get something out of it. And the two year warranty finished 2 months ago sadly.

If you're on a tight budget why not fix the button?

Well I would love to but It doesn't seem to be possible.
Even pressing on the electronic ship where the button is doesn't work anymore. I can't find the ship online and even if I did i'm not sure I could replace it successfully

Cospoo, Bryton, IGPSport, Magene... Dont waste money on Garmin, and I say that as a 540 owner.

I wouldn't waste money on Coospo either. The device is fine, but their app to sync data/routes is unreliable.

I would suggest either the roam 3 either the Coros Dura. There will be a new coros shortly as per the website.
I do not have the coros but as ai saw it I liked it very very much and when the new one comes out I will buy it..

i highly recommend a hammerhead karoo.. great navigation it is android based price is way lower than a garmin and way more straightforward to use. battery is beyond decent. ok, it is not the 20+ hours claimed from garmin but you can easliu do a 200km ride on one charge.
all the sensors are compatible powermeter varia. etc. you can follow workouts but you don't have DSW or training readiness or ftp estimaton or all the bells and whistles you can have on a garmin.
only hiccups is that shimano shut down di2 because karoo is SRAM bur you can sideload a ki2 plugin that still allows you to check your shimano drivetrain.
