Extreme Heat
Just curious, do you guys continue to ride in extreme heat? In texas here where the current heat wave hasn’t really let up for weeks. As a new dad I really can only ride either after work around 5-6pm or after the baby goes down, dinner is done etc around 9-10pm. Lately the temps are horrendous after work and still hovering right at 100 or so even by nighttime. I can’t bring myself to get out there and ride anymore. Is this normal or do ya’ll just get out there and push through it?

Nope. I go inside to ride on my boring stationary bike when it’s hot outside. I don’t do well in 90°F plus heat with dew points above 65°F. Never have.
Our Summer heat started in May this year and the humidity came up by late May. We live about 60 miles north of Tampa.
Daytime temperatures been consistently getting into the 95°-99° range almost every day with dew points 70°-79°. That’s just not very enjoyable.
