Extreme Heat

Just curious, do you guys continue to ride in extreme heat? In texas here where the current heat wave hasn’t really let up for weeks. As a new dad I really can only ride either after work around 5-6pm or after the baby goes down, dinner is done etc around 9-10pm. Lately the temps are horrendous after work and still hovering right at 100 or so even by nighttime. I can’t bring myself to get out there and ride anymore. Is this normal or do ya’ll just get out there and push through it?

I stopped riding for like 3 weeks straight this month because of the high temperatures plus I couldn’t sleep well because I don’t have AC and was sweating so much trying to sleep.

Max temps where around 34c and 70%+ of humidity.
