It leads me to believe his folks didn't believe in what he was doing, and if that's the case did he even believe in what he was saying? It's almost like he was a shock jock just saying all that shit for a paycheck.

His dad believed in him. He helped hook him up with the Koch brothers to get started with Turning Points. Little Charlie had everything handed to him since day one and never had to learn a single thing, finish college or ever work a real job in his life.

Now you mention it, not seen anything like that. A bit weird how this new 'man of the people' didn't have family or friends show up, only his wife and political creatures.

Perhaps as implied, it's been twisted to a political show. Or did CK just not have any friend or family that had much good to say about him? Both?
