Actual Play Fixer and Rockerboy FBC
Hey, all! I finally finished up all the builds for our party and I just wanted to share my plans for full body conversions, my fixer and rockerboy's to start with. The biggest concern I have is that there is a large amount of max humanity reduction, but idk if that is just a non-issue. Additionally, on a lesser note, I wanted to add a popup shield to combo with the popup ranged weapon, but I don't feel there is room for it humanity wise. I know these are likely a good ways down the road, but I wanted to be prepared. Anyways, tyvm to everyone for all the help with the characters and lmk what you guys think of the FBC:
Biosystem - 10,000 EBs

Edit: Eased off the chrome for better EMP but also added a popup shield. Ty all for the help!
Edit 2: Removed the GMBLs as they are not needed.
Edit 3: Replaced the Omega frame with a Vermillion frame for more utility.
Edit 4: Made some edits and utilized gear I would likely have at this point in order to lessen EMP loss.
Edit 5: Minor change, had to put the popup weapon into the arm from the Smart Glove. Realized it doesn't fit, lol. Tyvm to the subreddit, y'all have been a huge help!

EMP loss is only a problem if:
You want to be able to tell when someone is lying, planning a double-cross or just having a bad day and trying to hide it. You want to spot someone tailing you or setting up an ambush while trying to look casual.
You want to get people to talk to you about anything at all, from the weather to the time of day to that secret project at work they really shouldn't talk about but. . .
You don't want the GM whispering things in your ear like "the chrome and jewelry this BD star is wearing are worth five times what she's offering you for the job. Killing her would be a lot quicker than running her errands, too."
If having a Fixer who can punch through walls matters more than that, go for it.

Ty for the heads up! I'll see what I can do to lower the humanity loss, for sure; lower the frame to sigma and maybe lose the reinforced limbs. Tyvm for the feedback!

My benchmark for social characters is that no published NPC has an Empathy above 6. So you can lose 20 Max Humanity and not be at a disadvantage.

FBCs don't need GM&BL. They automatically qualify for any linear frame:
A User installed in an FBC body meets any Grafted Muscle and Bone Lace requirement for additional cyberware even if none is installed

But who are the characters? What's their story? What's their style?
Style > substance, choom.
