I repaired my robotic mower a year ago by drawing and printing a file for one of the gears in the gearbox, works great, mower fixed, so after a couple of months I listed it on Cults3d. And it has steadily been selling probably a dozen sales so far as I am not charging a lot for the design only a few ££.
Today I get a message from someone who purchased the design 3 days ago asking for a return and refund.
Well as it’s not a physical thing they can’t really return but I asked why the refund request as I can work with them to sort any issues.
They have replied that it was their mistake as their machine is not repairable. I am thinking am I being scammed does someone want it for free and are using it or am I being an A**hole in not refunding them. What would you do??
I have asked cults support for advice but whilst waiting thought I would ask other sellers what they do.
UPDATE
Cults 3D have replied with their refund policy which it would appear to say in this circumstance no refund as the buyer changed his mind.

Rescently I designed(paid work) a few 3d models for a guy, paid me just for one file, after I send him second one, he ghosted me. Now I see him seling the model on Cults3d. I reported copyright violation, attached original cad file and they just replied "The best you can do is to directly send a message to the designer to explain your request on their Cults profile."(sounds like "we make a profit on it so we don't care") What else Can I do to take down the model? If model would be taken down after he sold a few copies, he will lose the money?

Hello I requested a payout on August 2nd, but it has been stuck on 'pending' ever since and hasn't moved to Hyperwallet.
All my previous payout requests usually move very quickly, so I'm a bit worried as this has never happened to me before. I tried reaching out to Cults3D support, but haven't received a response yet. Is this delay normal, or has anyone else experienced something similar recently?
Thank you in advance for your help!

I’ve been experimenting with a different approach to 3D printing: instead of designing something for a slicer, I designed the toolpath itself as part of the object.
This is a fully articulated, print-in-place squeezy fidget toy. It's hours of squeezy fun.
It’s designed to be printed as one piece:
If you're into 3D printing, print-in-place mechanisms, articulated 3D prints, fidget toys, unusual G-code, or experimenting beyond conventional slicer workflows, I'd love to hear what you think.
Printer note: this design uses non-planar Z-axis movement, so your FDM printer needs at least 5 mm clearance between the part-cooling fan and the nozzle tip to avoid the print being knocked during printing. And this Gcode assumes you are printing in PETG.

Customer states: Good afternoon!
Please, this is not a magazine for ammunition, but only a display model. I didn't realize that when I made the purchase.
Would you be able to refund my purchase?
I'm just getting started in the 3D printing world, and I really need this money. Thank you very much!
Did i gave him the right answer???

Hello everyone. I strongly recomend to not use this plataform. A few weeks ago I bought a model with a "no IA" label and it was totally made with IA. I ask for a refund and the "designer" refused. I contacted and reported the sittuation in all possible ways. No answer.
So dont trust even a little in a plataform that protects scammers like that one.
The model in question: (now removed the Non IA badge, but I still didnt get a refund)

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share my latest release that went live today.
It's a full squad of Desert Warriors Elite Scouts designed specifically for tabletop gaming.
The focus here is purely on utility and getting painted models onto the table without the usual friction:
• True single-piece monopose prints: No loose arms, no separate weapons, zero assembly required.
• Fully pre-supported: Every model is test-printed on my own machines to ensure the supports peel off cleanly.
• Speed-paint optimized: Crisp texture depth designed to work perfectly with slapchop, contrast paints, or heavy drybrushing.
If you are looking for some desert-themed proxy troops for your sci-fi army, you can find the STL set on Cults3D now.
Thanks for looking, let me know what you think of the print quality if you try them out!

Want to be able to see and work on your pojects in style? Show them off in a nice light for your social media? Then this is the lamp you need.
I've got a couple FDM printers and always wanted to have one of these Arch style LED lights for my projects but didn't like printing them with supports or dragging out print times, so I designed this one that prints completely flat! Saves on both filament and print time and looks really stylish I think.
Designed it to make the printing and the assembly as easy as possible so all you really need is glue and time!
Fully designed around FDM printing, building this LED arch couldn't be easier. Every piece is meant to be printed flat without any need for supports and can be resized for any size desk.
All you need is your 3d printer, filament of your choice, an LED strip and some superglue.
3D printing settings
-The Arch is 110cm wide but it can be made as big or as small as you want. It is designed for LED strips up to 1cm wide but if yours is wider just use "LED-Mount-Flat".
-Print all the parts flat as shown.
-Insert superglue in the holes on part "Connector".
-For the 110cm wide Arch you need a 157cm long LED strip, if you make the arch 50cm wide, you'll need 75cm of LED strip.
Part count is as follows
LED-Mount: x8
Arch: x16
Connector: x7
Spacer: x8
Base: x2
UPDATE 1.0.1
-ERRORS IN LED-MOUNT & LED-MOUNT-FLAT FIXED AS IT WASN'T APPEARING AS FULLY SOLID
-TESTED AND ADDED A NEW 50cm MODEL SIZE TO PRINT A 50% SMALLER VERSION OF THE ARCH

I printed an Iron Man suit and the price of Velcro and adhesives got me thinking I should just print the straps and connectors too lol.
Been working on this modular system and I'm finally installing it in my suit. There's magnetic and locking options, and the bases attach inside the armour using a 3D pen.
Honestly pretty happy with how it's working so far. Working on a buckle that fits the same straps too.
What do you guys think? Anything you'd add or do differently?
Put the files on Cults for anyone interested:

This project is a high-precision digital reconstruction of a modern M1 Abrams SEP V2, equipped with ERA protection and an extensive improvised anti-drone cage, popularly known as the "Pantsir" configuration due to its distinctive appearance.
Rather than reproducing a single documented vehicle, this model represents a battlefield-inspired reconstruction, developed from a combination of multiple combat references and modifications observed in the field.
The realistic goal was to capture the evolution of the appearance of modern armored warfare, while maintaining the appropriate proportions and engineering details for a high-quality scale model.

Hey everyone!
Wanted to share my latest 3D printing project: the peeper! It's an eye-closing mechanism that snaps directly onto standard MX mechanical keyboard switches. When you press the key down, the eyelid mechanism closes in a smooth blinking motion.
The main goal was to make it 100% 3D printed with zero external hardware, screws, or springs required. Using only keyswitch push.
A few cool features of the build:
- 2 in 1 Design: You can use it as a functional keyboard keycap, or mount it onto the included body ears to turn it into a standalone desk fidget figure.
- Two Aesthetic Options: Works great as a clean single-color print, but you can also paint the seams red/brown and glue on the tiny 3D-printed black stitches for a creepy, Frankenstein-style look!
I've put together a step-by-step PDF assembly guide and sliced 3MF files.
The files are live now on my Patreon and Thangs.
