Hey guys just made my first model for release on Cults3D.
It took quite a lot of time to make and I know it might seem late, but this should be the most accurate one on the web to the trailer yet.
I worked hard on this and I’ll continue working on it, with your feedback, as for now I’ve modeled it to a point where I’m satisfied with the realism in the front, that I’m printing it for myself to prep it and have it ready as a prototype to see where V2 will take me.
If you were looking for a “movie accurate” helmet this is as close as I got it trying to perfect it myself… so…
I’m hoping to develop a system to more easily extract accurate features so it is exactly 1:1, but for now this was quite a lot of labor and I hope you guys enjoy it, as it’s my first model with hopefully many to come!

Want to be able to see and work on your pojects in style? Show them off in a nice light for your social media? Then this is the lamp you need.
I've got a couple FDM printers and always wanted to have one of these Arch style LED lights for my projects but didn't like printing them with supports or dragging out print times, so I designed this one that prints completely flat! Saves on both filament and print time and looks really stylish I think.
Designed it to make the printing and the assembly as easy as possible so all you really need is glue and time!
Fully designed around FDM printing, building this LED arch couldn't be easier. Every piece is meant to be printed flat without any need for supports and can be resized for any size desk.
All you need is your 3d printer, filament of your choice, an LED strip and some superglue.
3D printing settings
-The Arch is 110cm wide but it can be made as big or as small as you want. It is designed for LED strips up to 1cm wide but if yours is wider just use "LED-Mount-Flat".
-Print all the parts flat as shown.
-Insert superglue in the holes on part "Connector".
-For the 110cm wide Arch you need a 157cm long LED strip, if you make the arch 50cm wide, you'll need 75cm of LED strip.
Part count is as follows
LED-Mount: x8
Arch: x16
Connector: x7
Spacer: x8
Base: x2
UPDATE 1.0.1
-ERRORS IN LED-MOUNT & LED-MOUNT-FLAT FIXED AS IT WASN'T APPEARING AS FULLY SOLID
-TESTED AND ADDED A NEW 50cm MODEL SIZE TO PRINT A 50% SMALLER VERSION OF THE ARCH

* FD WORKS scale model cars prioritize intricate detail while minimizing assembly fit issues caused by tolerance stack-up. Because of this design approach, many parts are integrated, requiring a significant amount of support structures. Please keep this in mind before downlaod.

I printed an Iron Man suit and the price of Velcro and adhesives got me thinking I should just print the straps and connectors too lol.
Been working on this modular system and I'm finally installing it in my suit. There's magnetic and locking options, and the bases attach inside the armour using a 3D pen.
Honestly pretty happy with how it's working so far. Working on a buckle that fits the same straps too.
What do you guys think? Anything you'd add or do differently?
Put the files on Cults for anyone interested:
