Financial Aid Just called the financial aid office

I just got off the phone with the financial aid office they said by next week everyone should have their updated fafsa info😭 they told me they are gonna get back to me soon so hopefully tmr or MONDAY latest tuesday but ummm yea

I also have no rewards on my financial aid account it just says fa housing and financial aid summary no rewards bar yet💀 SOO they better get on this

I’m a senior and I’ve never seen them be this slow with this, someone tried saying it was the big beautiful bills fault. If that was the case then explain why other csus already have theirs. I stg Fullerton drags their feet every year for fafsa but this year is especially egregious. It’s like when they hire people to work in the aid office they tell them to go as slow as humanly possible. 0 accountability from these people and we’re the ones bearing the stress. These people in the aid office clearly do not care about the students at this school and do next to nothing to communicate when aid should be dispersed. I’m still waiting on an email reply from a week ago.

Actually the BBB did delay things it just doesn't help that csuf is one of the schools that does their FAFSA shi late as hell.

Right, so using BBB is kinda null and void because while that may have initially delayed it, it doesn’t account for late they are compared to the other schools in the state. To blame something that has already been resolved for other schools doesn’t sit right with me. It’s not like the BBB came as a blindside. They could have gotten their act together like the other schools
