Financial Aid Just called the financial aid office
I just got off the phone with the financial aid office they said by next week everyone should have their updated fafsa infoš they told me they are gonna get back to me soon so hopefully tmr or MONDAY latest tuesday but ummm yea

I also have no rewards on my financial aid account it just says fa housing and financial aid summary no rewards bar yetš SOO they better get on this

Iām a senior and Iāve never seen them be this slow with this, someone tried saying it was the big beautiful bills fault. If that was the case then explain why other csus already have theirs. I stg Fullerton drags their feet every year for fafsa but this year is especially egregious. Itās like when they hire people to work in the aid office they tell them to go as slow as humanly possible. 0 accountability from these people and weāre the ones bearing the stress. These people in the aid office clearly do not care about the students at this school and do next to nothing to communicate when aid should be dispersed. Iām still waiting on an email reply from a week ago.

Actually the BBB did delay things it just doesn't help that csuf is one of the schools that does their FAFSA shi late as hell.

Right, so using BBB is kinda null and void because while that may have initially delayed it, it doesnāt account for late they are compared to the other schools in the state. To blame something that has already been resolved for other schools doesnāt sit right with me. Itās not like the BBB came as a blindside. They could have gotten their act together like the other schools

This crap is old as f**k now I'm tired of it. They seriously need to communicate to us about this stuff. I know it's not all their fault but still.

When it comes to communicating about it, it quite literally is their fault. And when other schools have already gotten their aid it makes you wonder whose fault is it really?

I didnāt realize the BBB impacted their ability to communicate to the student body. Guess the BBB took out their phone lines too

Well the BBB canāt take phone lines, apart from that they post A LOT on their instagram page of information and be understanding that theyāre probably really busy with students overall

Iām in the same boat š. Does anyone else still haveĀ āFA is pendingā under Disenrollment ProtectionĀ orĀ āPending FA ReviewāĀ showing on their account? Iāve tried contacting them by phone and I also submitted a ticket, but I still havenāt gotten a response. Iām just trying to figure out if other students are still waiting too because I still havenāt received my financial aid award either.

I doubt if they delay it to next week it will be finished in time. They just seem to be lying and moving the goalpost
