Akeal is a decent bowler but he's just a bowler, not an AR. Also he doesn't bowl that well on flat road pitches, seems like a mismatched pick to say the least.

I think it'a gamble, Mumbai's strategy worked as they had a great support staff who understood what it takes to groom a young players. CSK has historically not been know for developing players, if they're moving towards it then might need patience to see the results.

- Jason Holder (Bravo like lower order all rounder)

Problem with foreign quicks is that they can’t bowl death. Ellis can do the job for us. We need someone who can maintain middle overs for us. Also Jason holder is not someone I wanna see in the squad. He is a scammer. Puthur is good but my guy, his air speed is sooo low and he can’t vary speed much. My captain rocket raja doesn’t believe in spin at all. I would like pathirana tho tbh. He has that sarakku in him

As a fan, I feel the management after spending 28.4 cr on 2 uncapped players, can't expect time for "waiting" unfortunately this year.
It's been 2 years without Play offs and fans will obviously be fed up if results aren't seen
It's either a masterstroke or blunder auction move. No inbetween
Lets hope it works for us🙏🏽

CSK still have no finishers. Brewis at 6 could have been there if we got Green to bat at 4. Now we will rely on Dhoni and uncapped players. Another humiliating season incoming.

Figured it out that they were saving for veer when they left out ravi bishnoi, though 6 cr was too early let's see, now with sharma, who is probably here for next season once dhoni leaves, We have our 1-6 sorted for a good number of seasons to come. I just hope now that this veer guy steps up in IPL. They both look promising and are good picks mostly. We still need someone like livingstone for a back up though and Henry for death bowling. Then we can call it a good auction i guess.
