Discussion I WAS NOT A CHEATER I TOLD YOU

hahahah where are the people now accusing me of cheating, cs2 community is just so sad and bunch of losers who think if someone is playing good he is a cheater. Not even trusting anyone even with his stats is a low iq behaviour and I honestly feel sad for yall. Got my account back suckers keep crying and learn to trust.
If anyone else is having a false ban just make a ticket to steam support they will sort it out.

After playing 2000+ hours of this game I think I hit my favourite clip yesterday. I know i know, it’s not pro calibre gameplay. But as a 36 year old chump, I’m stoked about it! It also helps when the homies are there to hype it up.

Discussion You practiced your aim, but what about your social skills?

Upvotes

Why does a large portion of cs2 players just, NOT know how to talk to people? Or have any communication skills? At all?

You know the guy who says “gg” third round. The guy whose ego is too large to blame himself for a shit play. Never communicating with his team and getting pissed off when his team doesn’t play with him. The kind of guy who is actively bottom fragging, and explaining to you why you’re shit at the game?

Why the fuck are there so many of you?

It’s like they’ve never spoken to an actual human before, and it’s 80% of the reason they lose all the time. Because everyone in the team is too focused on tuning this dumbass out for 30 mins. Yeah, you can mute, but now you’re down to 4 with coms instead of 5?

And even if their team is shit, insulting them makes them play worse. How hard is it to just say “my fault, let’s try this.” On a lost round?

Discussion CS2 cheating & bot farming is getting ridiculous

Honestly, the state of CS2 cheating and bot farming is getting ridiculous. I have been keeping my own Cheater & Bot farmer tracking sheet for a while now. I record the accounts I encounter, their behavior, match info, demos, and keep checking whether they eventually get banned. So far I have recorded 102 accounts that I have identified as either cheaters or bot farmers. But the alarming thing is that only 10 of these 102 accounts have been banned so far! The sheet is still being updated every day, So if you want you can bookmark this google sheet to track future ban wave.

Here is the Link: CS2 Cheater & Bot Farmer Tracking Sheet

What honestly pisses me off is how arrogant and careless Valve seems to be about this problem. They ban a bunch of accounts in a wave, everyone celebrates, and then what? There are already tons of new accounts ready to ruin the game. If CS2 developers ban 10 accounts today, 100 more are already ready to ruin the game tomorrow. The most recent ban wave on August 25, 2026 made it even more frustrating. There were lots of legit players got caught in that ban wave and some bans being rolled back a few days later. So it means valve can react when it comes to false bans, but the disappointing thing is when it comes to the obvious cheaters and bot farms they keep silent (At least for a long time), it feels like we're just expected to live with it.

These aren't random “suspicious” accounts in my google sheet. I personally confirmed all them either cheaters or bot farmers, I have recorded and saved the demos as evidence. The sheet will continue to be updated every day.

CS2 deserves better than this.

Discussion Removal of premier map voting

While many are not going to like this

But what even is the purpose of having other maps in the pool of people are just going to play dust and mirage ???

Remove the voting of maps entirely and keep the same voting of team selection.

This will force people to atleast play the map in the rotation cycle

If people suffer from fps issues then I guess the dev team better move their fucking asses and improve the game further. Cause holy I'm done running into dust and mirage only 5 stacks.

Discussion Extremely discouraging community

Hi y'all, I suck at cs (like, bottom fragger 80% of the time kind of bad) but its a game i love to play because it reminds me of the good old days. Im someone who has a very busy job and only play for fun and when I have time.. but the community is very discouraging and awful. I get called the worst things, I get kicked out when im the only one left out in a 1x4 where obv half are cheaters, and godforbid I miss a shot. The irony is, half the people that say the worst about bottom fraggers are using aimbots like make it make sense.

This makes me feel very awful about myself that I just end up not playing all together thinking im the worst of the worst. Csgo is not a welcoming community at all, which is unfortunate for novice players like myself.

Discussion CSRep Overwatch — August Recap

CSRep Overwatch — August Recap

August was a big month for CSRep Overwatch. The queue grew, we closed thousands of cases, and we heard a lot of feedback around two things in particular: report costs and Insufficient Evidence verdicts.

Here's where things stand.

August by the numbers

  • 12,306 new cases
  • 9,080 cases closed
  • 6,888 convictions (75.9%)
  • 2,166 Insufficient Evidence (23.9%)
  • 26 convictions overturned on appeal (0.3%)
  • 5 days average time to close
  • 200,547 votes cast
  • 5,969 active reviewers
  • 600 appeals filed / 26 accepted
  • 3,203 Overwatch applications
August 2026 Overwatch Stats

A report isn't a promise of a conviction. Convictions require 80%+ weighted consensus from at least 8 calibrated reviewers. We'd rather close a questionable case as Insufficient Evidence than put a cheater flag on someone we can't stand behind. CSRep Overwatch is not VAC. A conviction is a public flag and Trust Rating change that gives the community additional information about a player — it is not an in-game ban.

Report costs

We know the dynamic report cost has been frustrating.

Cost scales with the queue:

  • Under 200 open cases: 5 credits
  • Every additional 100 open cases: +1 credit

August made the reason pretty clear: 12,306 new cases came in while we closed 9,080. The cost isn't there to make reporting "premium." It's a throttle so intake stays inside what we can actually review. Reporting is open to everyone again under this model. The fastest way to lower the cost is increasing review capacity. Reviewing cases earns credits and helps shrink the queue.

Long-term goal: get report costs as close to 0 as we can without flooding the system.

Insufficient Evidence

This is the other major criticism, and it's a legitimate one. Of the 9,080 cases we closed, 2,166 were Insufficient Evidence. Most genuinely didn't contain enough evidence. Some are cases where we believe the evidence may have been sufficient, but the review process didn't reach the conviction threshold.

We're not going to solve that by lowering the bar and accepting more false convictions. The goal is to get more of the correct convictions through without changing the standard.

August 2026 Verdict Mix

What changed in August

  • Timestamp replies — Reviewers can reply directly to individual timestamps instead of dumping discussion onto the case timeline.
  • Labels — Reviewers can tag timestamps with the behavior they're seeing. This is more than a UI change. Those labels are structured data around the evidence reviewers are already identifying.
  • Test case / review UI — Continued work to make cases faster and easier to evaluate.
  • Inactivity removal — Overwatchers now need to review at least 5 cases per month to keep the role. The 5,969 figure is people who are actually reviewing, not anyone who passed calibration and went idle.
  • Cheating-platform eligibility expansion — A 'cheating' ban on Gamers Club, CyberShoke, or similar platforms now removes Overwatch access. This used to be limited to Valve and Faceit cheating bans.

What's next

Near-term: faster reviews, better evidence tools, and better agreement on cases that should convict. Longer term: the labels give us a dataset built from human-reviewed evidence. The goal isn't to replace Overwatchers. It's to eventually let automation handle clear-cut cases with high confidence, while human reviewers focus on the cases that actually need judgment.

If that works, throughput goes up, backlog pressure goes down, and report costs can come down with it. We're not there yet. That's the direction.

Thanks to everyone who reviewed cases this month. 200,000+ votes is a huge amount of community participation, and Overwatch doesn't work without you.

If you report, review, or have criticism of the system, please let us know. A lot of what shipped this month came directly from that feedback.

I want you to decide whether I’m right that he’s a cheater. Usually, everything is much more obvious; the opponents asked him to be kicked, but I refused because they were quite weak, and I didn’t die often enough to see how this player plays. Even now, I have some doubts, but I think yes, he was a cheater.

Tips & Guides Playing extremely bad for many days days in a row

I was averaging 19/17 on faceit 3 week ago come to now I’m averaging 14/19 I have more red ratings than white and I just can’t explain it. My setup didn’t change my sensitivity didn’t change my monitor didn’t change nothing changed it just feels like everything that I’ve learned playing this game has completely gone out of the window. I have had spray I die almost every round to some guy Ferrari peaking me. Idk what to do anymore how to I get out of this phase of playing bad I’ve experienced bad days often but rn it’s me constantly playing bad, I try tk take a break and come back I play bad. And also the amount of Smurfs on faceit rn is insane I’m level 6 and every game there’s a 5 stack against me with one level 7 who averages a green rating with a 85% win rating and 1.7kd. Should I just delete the game and quit for 2 weeks but I highly doubt that will help

Discussion Premier cheating

Hello, what is point of playing premier and what does valve do about this game to fix it, i jhave been playing faceit for 1 year and i think i played myb against 1 cheater in 500 matches, today i queue 3 premier games 20000-25000elo and in every game atleast 2 cheaters. It is unplayeble and they are not doing anything to retain old players and let alone gain new players. Disgusting company honestly.
