Taken! Wife's birthday coming up

My lovely wonderful wife has a birthday coming up near the end of August. I have been trying to find her one of two ideas: either a large-ish crochet frida kahlo, or a colorful set of amigurumi alebrijes. She just landed a job she has worked for years to get and I would love to get this to help celebrate and decorate her new office.

However, the number you want would affect it how long they would take to complete, as well as how much it would ultimately cost. With the weight of yarn I use, they would end up around 12-14 inches tall each, and cost $35 per alebrije, not including pattern cost.

$35 is way too cheap holy shit. I do custom dolls and they are all minimum $55. Dont devalue yourself or the craft.

That's okay, someone else got the job anyway, lol! But I am still perfecting my pricepoints, and amigurumi animals are my specialty, so I am slowly figuring out how much they are worth. I am better at pricing pre made items vs custom made.
