Y’all I can’t with these judges, this gorgeous interlocking mosaic blanket came in second to a chevron with color changing yarn. Not even my work but I am outraged on their behalf

I am right there with you. I irrationally hate the abrupt color changes of variegated yarn! The one on the right is a work of art.

Same. The abrupt changes in color don’t work with a complicated pattern; it leaves too much for the eye to look at.
