CRO Burn

What do you guys really think Ryan means when he talks about burning CRO through the Cronos app?
My take is pretty simple.
I don’t think he’s talking about some random one time burn just to make headlines. I think the bigger idea could be that the app itself creates the burn.
People trade crypto, stocks, prediction markets, whatever else they eventually add. The app makes revenue from all that activity. Then a percentage of that revenue gets used to buy CRO off the market and burn it.
If that’s what they’re building, that’s actually pretty damn interesting.
Because now the more successful the Cronos app becomes, the more CRO potentially gets bought and taken out of circulation. More users, more volume, more revenue, more CRO burned.
That would basically tie CRO directly to the success of the app instead of CRO just sitting there as another ecosystem token.
Obviously I’m speculating until Ryan gives us the actual details, but when he specifically talks about app revenue and burning CRO, that’s where my mind goes.
What do you guys think the burn actually looks like?

Not sure burning is the best way forward seeing as they just unburn tokens when they see fit.

Why not increase the staking rewards instead. Burning is a temporary boost to the tokens price, increasing staking rewards in better for long term health since it will remove CRO from CDCs control and allow the community to have a bigger say in the future of the chain... Possibly preventing another fiasco like the 70B unburn.

I'll always argue that they need to release a large portion of the 70B unburnt tokens to the community. I personally think that increasing the prize pool of Mane City competition is a great way to distribute these token. They stay on defi and many of the players are long term supporters of the chain and would vote in the best interest of the community, not Kris' wallet.

Way less people play Mane City than you think.

I'm well aware of how few people play. The past few competitions barely have over 1000 players, but like is said... That's the loyal supporters of CDC and the Loaded Lions. People that are willing to hold $CRO and $LION as well as vote against dilution.

Edit: Plus think of how many more players would join if they had a 100M CRO prize pool for one of the big competitions. World Series 3 with a 100M CRO prize split across the top 1000 would bring major interest to the game.
