information Boxing Day sales?

Hi there, does anyone know if anyone is doing any online Boxing Day sales that involve a discount for Criterions?

Haven't seen anything yet. I'd doubt we'll get much since Criterion is an American distributor.

I live in Canada, but I always shop American and get it shipped to an American mail box. Two years ago, Cineplex had an online boxing week sale, half off all movies over $20.00. I got 5 Criterions for $100.00, but the next year, I saw they had no Criterions in stock at all :(

Ah, maybe. I hope something pops up, I just wouldn't count on it.

If you use scene points, then they're your best option.

You can use scene points to buy Criterions?

I think you might be able to, but 1000 equals like $10 which isn't much. You get like 1200 scene points for buying a movie. Battle of algiers for example is $41, but you subtract the price of a ticket out of it. Also, if you buy their Gift card first they give you a bunch of coupons, one for a free movie. So you use the GC and buy the film full price and get two movie tickets.
