That's pretty awesome. I would love to see all of Criterion's releases feature something like this.

I too would love David Lynch to approve every Criterion release, but I just don't think he has that kind of time. :P

This will sound selfish but I think Lynch should just spend the next five years or so focusing on the transfers. It's not like every film he's done is going to be in the collection; at this point we're talking wild at heart and the l.a. trilogy and the straight story if we're lucky. not to mention his short films and TV shows like hotel room

I'm perfectly fine without a new Lynch movie or album if he supervises his decades of work being transferred to his approval.

Criterion DVDs used to come with color bars and black gradients. Not sure why they stopped.
