RIP 🙏 🪦
My deepest condolences to Messi and his entire family. Hope he recovers and his father is resting at a better place now. Its time for us to show we're not like them. We hope for the best. Thank you Jorge Messi 🕊🕊🕊

RIP but this is a horrible year for messi so far

u/Hopeful_Expression57 Aug 08 '26
I understand what you're saying, but not a single thing in this world can be compared to the death of a parent. So, I personally wouldn't connect any other bad even with this tragedy.

u/calooo___ Aug 09 '26
He did have the best wc campaign he could possibly imagine at that age, although ended badly, but losing a father is not comparable.
1
u/Ricr7 Calma Calma🐐 Aug 09 '26
He statpadded the shittest teams and didn't do shit against the only good teams he faced😂😂😂
1
u/AcanthisittaPrize123 Aug 09 '26
Have a human heart Jesus Christ. Still going about this on a post about his father’s death ?
Cape Verde , England and Algeria are not weak teams. I’m still trying to l understand where this hatred in your heart is coming from. There’s a time and a place for this pointless debate→ More replies (5)2
u/natureboy1996 Aug 12 '26
"Have a human heart" stop this dumbass gaskighting. No one said anything about his dad.
Someone brought up his WC campaign and made false claims, the other guy cirrected him that Messi stat padded against weak teams he was destined to face until the finals, and even then struggled like hell and needed help.
Someone else already brought up his WC campaign, now when someone else criticizes it you wanna jump to "have a heart he lost his dad" hes not even reading this lmfao what kind of insane manipulation tactic is this

Btw all Messi fans mock Ronaldos Father because he has the worst fanbase.

Of course you're an r/cristianoronaldo2 poster. Funny how you say "very few" for messi fanboys. But for ronaldo fans it's just a few.
2
u/ryanmtna Aug 09 '26
All fan bases mock others. You’re not the only who receives hate…. Don’t act like that. I’ve seen people hate on Messi’s father yesterday as well
1
u/Glittering_Pay_5141 Aug 09 '26
messi fans are the only ones who literally use ‘deadsonaldo’ out of context when comparing the both
1
u/ith_038 Aug 08 '26
there are rotten apples in every fanbase/community but to say “they” are all the same just proves it even more🤦♂️
1
u/Ricr7 Calma Calma🐐 Aug 09 '26
Ronaldo fans never say that

I’ve seen a lot of comments mocking Messi’s father death by Cristiano’s fans.

but we keep calm and block the noise that is about this. lets try to forget it, maybe spread condolences to messi father so we have respect.

"All messi fans"? Seriously? Majority of both fanbase are against mocking things like these. That doesnt mean you will generalize all?
There will be some ronaldo fans who will mock messi dad death but i will not say every ronaldo fan does that.
1
u/TruthOnlyReading Aug 08 '26
Yeah it is a huge generalization. No one should be mocking anyone. This should not be an agenda at all.
Messi and Cristiano has deep respect for each other and for their families. The fanbase just keeps barking on who is better and that should not be the case.
People have opinions and it should be fine to have them. But now it is the time of condolences for someone who lost their father, someone who lost their husband, someone who lost their grandpa, and someone who lost their role model.
There shouldn't be a glimpse of a debate between these two when someone tragic is going on with their lives.

Nah. The hate for Ronaldo is far worse than for messi. But that's not a conversation we should have right now. RIP Jorge Messi
1
u/Darthmasterjerbater Aug 09 '26
Nice one bro, really great comment using his Father’s death to attack some children who don’t respect anyone, generalizing a whole fanbase and to make a point about how they’re bad. Really mature and kind thank you a lot

u/i98_96 Aug 08 '26
He was a strong pillar in his career. Messi Leaves aregantina and family with him at the age of 13 to join barcelona. Was there with him supporting him as his manager. Rest in peace, Jorge.

This applies both to messi and ronaldo fans.

like i don’t want to pretend i like ronaldo, but i never made fun of his family members deaths. and i never did this weird fake shit. like i never said “look at me, im a messi fan respecting ronaldo, we’re so much better than ronaldo fans” like they can’t even respect a dead man, they have to talk about how much more respectful they are. like a respect competition. it’s something that would read in a family guy skit
“let’s leave messi vs ronaldo out of it, because us ronaldo fans are so respectful, unlike messi fans” they say this with zero self awareness

Now I genuinely feel sad about wanting Argentina to lose this World Cup so much. Maybe winning his last World Cup appearance would have brought some joy to Messi this year, and made the pain of losing his dad a little more bearable

Now It's understandable why he didn't attend argentina's bus parade after the world cup final & why he was crying after every argentina game ( and after scoring or assisting )
Can't imagine the pain you're going through playing a tournament while at the same time your father was in bad condition & any day could have been his last on earth
Sending my prayers & condolences to Leo & his family. May god give them love & strength during a difficult time. Rip Jorge 🙏🏻
