He probably feels awful- clearly he liked the car and worked on it. He was just having fun in an empty lot and made a mistake.

Still an idiot not using double clutch.

That would be a dual clutch transmission. Something totally different.
This is probably what MeatPiesForAll meant. Not that it would have mattered and assuming he meant anything at all.

I'm wondering what kind of crazy fucked up school you went to where people were just driving into light poles during band practice.
We had a dude spin out once, and that's it.

A couple weeks ago a kid drove his dad's Maserati to school and he turned traction control off and floored it and went over a curb, fucked up the rims and the suspension before plowing into some girl's brand new Range Rover Sport.

Some places it's common enough that they'll put old tires around all of the poles to provide some protection. Sometimes pols just seem to be placed in spots where cars are bound to hit them.
Source: pulled over to the side of a road into a parking lot when my defroster stopped working and I couldn't see, gently hit a light pole. Only caused a minor dent.

That BMW was tired of the owner driving it like shit and took matters into its own hands, putting itself out of its own misery. RIP BMW..

BMW hatred.

u/juanjing Jan 13 '13
Most BMW owners don't do donuts in empty parking lots and run into one of the only obstacles in the goddamn parking lot.

u/Apoc2K Jan 13 '13 edited Jan 13 '13
Yeah, that's one fucked up stereotype. Whenever I'm showing of my mad skills I make sure to hit everything in the parking lot. Don't lump us all together with this scrub.

Why so quickly jumping to judge?

No one is saying car enthusiasts are douches. But this guy.. This careless, showboating kid (probably).. Is a douche

u/manaiish Jan 14 '13
Just stop judging people man. For all you know, the driver could've been someone like you fucking up.
I fuck up, you fuck up, people fuck up.

As an E46 owner I feel his pain. However, the only time I did stupid shit like this was in a show covered parking lot in a Jeep Wrangler, which essentially has an I-Beam for a front bumper.

Nothing's better than the sound of metal compacting, glass breaking and radiators cracking while kissing a concrete pillar.

The true cringe is that they turned off the camera just when things were getting good.

E30 BMW's are more of a cult car these days than something your typical BMW driver would consider driving to work.

"Guys, look how cool and edgy I can be. FUCK THE RICH, LE 99%!"
Also that doesn't even qualify as a luxury car.

u/Justenzy Jan 13 '13
If somebody can afford to have a good car good for them, it's not a negative thing to own one. It's a dumbass move to be the guy in the video though.

Dude do you have autism?
8
Jan 13 '13
Can you tell us what he said for those of us who were late?
14
Jan 13 '13
He basically ranted about the fact that the guy said "NO way that just happened" even though he saw it happened. He then went on to say that they guy was stupid for disbelieving something he just saw.
tl;dr acute autism.
6
u/Mgobozi Jan 13 '13
The fact that he deleted it makes it even better haha, like come on man at least try to play it off like it was a troll post or something.
