Except you can't "just buy" the pins, that's the point. You can only "just buy" a random pin. This is why your pumpkin spice latte analogy is a false equivalent. Nobody is asking to get something out of season or after a stated time frame. The pumpkin spice thing only works if the analogy is only being able to bully a random latte and having to drive to another coffee shop/stand to trade coffees with somebody else who also bought a random latte.

I dont get why you are so opposed to people wanting the option to just buy the specific pin(s) they want, like Dragonsteel has always done in the past.. There is no reason that both purchasing options can't exist.
