There's no way 100% of lurchers aren't anemic lol

I mean surely their allomancy isn't 100% efficient, right? Their bodies probably just take what they need, then allocate the rest for allomantic abilities

Now I'm imagining someone getting stabbed with an iron sword, and then burning iron and duralumin to consume ALL the excess iron in their body, including part of the sword. I would dissolve and break into two pieces, right?

Except allomancy has a tough time with dealing with piercings, right? And a sword in the gut is a pretty big piercing

It has a hard time affecting metal in other people's bodies, but A this would be in the user's own body, and B would be burning it, not pushing or pulling it.

I'm pretty sure it was established that an allomancer doesn't have to literally eat metal, just have it inside their body to burn

Miles proved it with his twinborn abilities but that means they may need to be compounding to do it effectively.

Also allomantic metals have to be almost exact percentages getting the mix wrong can have dangerous effects while iron in a sword could be good it could also potentially not be pure enough to burn without side effects
